Darrell Low, EE’89 Running for: Nominating Committee

Campaign Statement

As a member of the current Nominating Committee, this current year has been challenging and rewarding.  Seeing the outpouring of support for the special Alumni Trustee election has redoubled my passion to get back the school back towards the path to restoring free tuition.  I’m invigorated by the talent and commitment of the many people who are now engaged and want to help in various ways.  I want to continue to be on the Nominating Committee to attract more alumni to volunteer and help the CUAA find the leaders to bring us what we all want back.

Bio

Darrell has worked in the financial services industry for 26 years and is a Vice President in the Technology Division at Goldman, Sachs and Co.  Darrell has completed 11 years volunteering as Executive Vice President for the Community Advisory Board of the Gouverneur Health Care Center in the Lower East Side chairing the Ambulatory Care committee.  He served on the CU Alumni Council from 2008-2013 and was elected to the Alumni Council starting in the 2014-2015 school year.  Darrell was co-chair of the Annual Fund from 2012-2014.  He is also a member of the Alumni in Financial Services Committee and the Executive Committee of the CUAA.
