Cooper Union AICHE Chapter Wows Youth at Hall of Science While Celebrating Chemistry on October 18. 2015

Fourteen Cooper Union Chemical Enginering Students took part in the American Chemical Science event held on Sunday, October 18, on the 2nd floor of the Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Park.  The event is in its third year and kicks off the beginning of National Chemistry Week.  This Year’s Event was called Celebrating Chemistry — Chemistry Colors our World.

Cooper Union Students Assist with experiments

The Cooper Union American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) chapter had three tables at this event.  At each table, young people had an opportunity to perform chemical experiments with Cooper Students helping.  The students that attended ranged in age from 6 to 15 years old.
