Campaign Statement

Ariel Jackson is a 2013 School of Art graduate student. She was the recipient of The Robert Breer Film Award for Excellence in Film, Video and Animation 2013 and The Benjamin Menschel Fellowship Award for Documentary 2012. Jackson was also a Resident Assistant from 2011-2013. She is a practicing artist who has shown work at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, The Bronx Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and The Studio Museum in Harlem. She is originally from New Orleans LA and is currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

Bio

I feel that it is my duty as a Cooper Union graduate to give back to the Cooper Union community that helped foster and shape my work ethic and sense of community. Serving on the Alumni Council would be a privilege and honor. I know I can bring passion and commitment to the council with your support.
