Campaign Statement

I am grateful for the education and career preparation I received from The Cooper Union, and hope to return this gift by serving.  I hope to promote the legacy of innovation and excellence associated with the school through its Alumni.

I have always been eager to participate in alumni affairs, and I look forward to teaming with other passionate alumni to sustain the school’s mission and a return to a tuition-free model.

I am pleased to have been nominated to be a member of the Nominating Committee, and will work to expand the participating alumni network to identify and involve enthusiastic candidates for CUAA positions


Biography

Anthony Manganiello (CE’06/’11) is a Professional Engineer and construction project manager specializing in heavy civil and infrastructure construction at Halmar International, where he has worked since his graduation from Cooper Union.

Anthony has been involved with fundraising efforts and alumni networking events at Cooper since graduation.  Over the past decade he has led coordination efforts with public agencies and managed project planning, team building and onsite operations for several New York City-based construction projects in support of major capital programs like the World Trade Center, MTA’s East Side Access, the Redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport and One Vanderbilt.  He is a participating member of the Construction Management Association of America, American Society of Civil Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
