Running for: VP Faculty and Student Liason
Campaign Statement
I have been a liaison for the CUAA representation to the Art School. In that position I have reported on current issues from the school to the Council. I have also assisted with the representation for the Engineering and Architecture schools, and the Humanities department. In the future I would keep up the interaction between the schools and the CUAA.
My commitment to Cooper comes from a desire to give back to this unique institution the help it needs to succeed in maintaining its ideals for future generations. My participation on the Art School Administration Committee has shown me the dedication and commitment of the professional staff, who continue to maintain Cooper’s policy of excellence.
Biography
Mina Greenstein A’ 56 was a graphic designer and art director for children’s books based in New York. Books that she has worked on have been honored with AIGA Best Books and Bookbinders’ Guild of New York awards. She was given The Alumnus of the Year Award in 2011. Her service to the Cooper Union Alumni Association has included multiple terms on the Alumni Council and the Nominating Committee. She has volunteered at the Phonathon, the Augustus Saint-Gaudens Award Committee and is the Alumni Representative to the School of Art Administration Committee. R
