Israel Kalish EE’53

Israel Kalish had a 46 year career at RCA where he helped develop many high tech components including sealed germanium batteries and semiconductors used in Televisions.

Israel Kalish was also a member of The Cooper Union Engineering School Faculty for 16 years.

Awards

Israel Kalish was awarded the CUAA Gano Dunn Award in 1995 and was inducted into the Cooper Union Hall of Fame in 2009. He was honored as an IEEE Fellow for his work on the first Complementary Symmetry Metal-Oxide Silicon (CMOS) Integrated Circuits for semiconductors.
