ANNUAL FUND UPDATE

The new school year brings with it, great promise for our beloved alma mater.  We helped welcome the new students with our Peter Cooper Block party, held on September 3rd.  Now, the new students are hard at work, the Free Education Committee continues its exploration of potential paths that will take us back to the full scholarship model, and The Cooper Union welcomes its first female president, Laura Sparks, who will begin in January.

Along side all this activity, we have started fundraising for the 2017 Annual Fund.

The CUAA will build on the momentum of increased commitment and generosity demonstrated by alumni last year.

Last year, alumni participation surged 20% from the previous year, with total alumni giving to the Annual Fund at $1,735,808.

Reunion Class giving was notably strong, with the Class of 1966 giving $245,978.
