Running For: Council

Campaign Statement

I believe in Cooper Union and all that it stands for. I was a member of the Alumnae Committee for 2 years from 1987-1989.
What has happened to CU in the last couple of years is just disastrous in one word.
We must bring back free tuition.
The vibrant, scholarly tulip of New York City must bloom again. The belief that education should be free must not be lost by the selfish acts of a few!
I would like to be elected so that I can represent and serve the broader Cooper community.
Hope (Blake) Wade A’87
