This event is organized by the Cooper Career Services Office and the Engineering School for the benefit of Engineering Students.  Cooper Union Alumni conduct mock job interviews with students.  Typically about 15 minutes is provided for each interview followed by 10 minutes for constructive feedback for the students on how they might improve their interviewing skills.
Mock Interview Night 2
This is an opportunity for alumni to make a positive impact — one student at a time.  It is a rewarding experience for all who participate. Engineering alumni are needed to help Cooper students practice for interviews for internships, jobs and graduate school. Alumni will play the role of coach offering students advice and feedback on interviewing skills and technique. By lending us your time and expertise, you’ll help students gain confidence and better prepare them for the next big interview.

Jolie Woodson who heads Cooper Union’s Career Office has put out a plea for more female engineering alumni to participate.  She also says that more chemical and mechanical engineers are needed.

Alumni need to register for this event and supply professional information so that the Career office can match students and alumni for interviews.
