Directions

If arriving by vehicle, use the intersection of Central Avenue and Grove Avenue (Avenue, not Street, for both!), to drive directly to the gravesite traffic circle.  Green-Wood Cemetery has four entrance gates, the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street, the Sunset Park Entrance at Fourth Avenue and 35th Street, the Fort Hamilton Entrance at Fort Hamilton Parkway and Micieli Place, and the Prospect Park Entrance at Prospect Park West and 20th Street.  There is one parking lot at the Main Entrance, but that is a half-hour walk to the gravesite, so arrive a half-hour early.  The Main Entrance is open until 7pm, with the other three entrances open until 4pm.  Admittance is free and you can obtain a map at all entrances.

If arriving by foot, Use the Prospect Park West and 20th Street Entrance to Green-Wood. From there, it is a one-minute walk to the gravesite, located on a circle shaped family plot where Grove Avenue and Central Avenue intersect.  The F and G trains go to the nearby 15 St-Prospect Park subway stop, which is an 8-minute walk away; depending on the train, some F trains express the stop, so you might need to switch to a G or a different F.  Admittance is free and you can obtain a map at the entrance.

After the ceremony:

Alumni and their guests may tour the cemetery together on foot, or walk to the Double Windsor at 16th Street and Prospect Park West for a drink and/or meal.  (Note your self-guided tour will NOT be the paid cemetery tour. meeting at the Main Entrance at 1pm. That tour is not part of the CUAA event.)
