On May 2, 2014, the senior ChE students were given a bus tour of one of the largest refineries in the U.S. and learned about the inner workings of a chemical manufacturing facility.  They traveled to Linden, NJ for a plant tour at the Bayway facility, hosted by Infineum (www.infineum.com/) and Phillips 66 (www.phillips66.com).

The group heard presentations by Lynn Cusack, ChE ’04, Sevanne Halajian, ChE ’09, and Caroline Laufer, ChE’00 from Infineum and Kristen Kirgan, ChE ’97 and Doug Mickity, ChE ’91 from Phillips 66. They were accompanied by Professor Ben Davis.
