In Memoriam: Steven Richter, A’57
Steven is best known as a photographer and his work is on view at the Laumont Gallery. He was born in the Bronx and graduated from Cooper Union in 1957. He worked as a graphic designer and later as creative director at the Aspen Art Museum. His “Invisible Neighbors: Portrait of the Homebound,” won an Art Matters award from Eastman Kodak in 1994. Steven was honored with a retrospective exhibit by the Aspen Institute in 2004. His photographs from two decades of travel abroad appeared in Travel & Leisure, New York, Penthouse magazine
