Nina Tandon EE’01

Dr. Nina Tandon, Ph.D., MBA, is the CEO and Co-Founder of EpiBone, Inc., a pioneering clinical-stage biotechnology company at the forefront of regenerative medicine. EpiBone develops AI-designed, 3D-fabricated living bone and cartilage to transform skeletal reconstruction. With a distinguished career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Tandon has consistently bridged the disciplines of biomedical engineering, entrepreneurship, and innovation to advance the field of tissue engineering.

Dr. Tandon holds a Ph.D. and postdoctoral training in stem cells and tissue engineering from Columbia University, where she also earned an Executive MBA in healthcare entrepreneurship. Her research contributions reflect a deep commitment to the development of personalized, biologically derived solutions for skeletal repair. Dr. Tandon’s work has earned her recognition across multiple domains, including being named one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business” and receiving prestigious honors such as Ernst & Young’s Winning Woman Award and Goldman Sachs’ “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs.”
