 Founder’s Day Alumni Awards Submit Your Nominations for the 2026 Alumni Awards The Cooper Union Alumni Association needs your help in recognizing alumni who are excelling in their fields and exemplify The Cooper Union’s core values. Each year, during our Founder’s Day Celebration, the Alumni Association honors four distinguished alumni with the following awards: The Augustus Saint-Gaudens Award for Professional Achievement in Art View view past recipients The John Q. Hejduk Award for Professional Achievement in Architecture view past recipients The Gano Dunn Award for Professional Achievement in Engineering, Industry, Science, or Finance view past recipients The Peter Cooper Service Award for Exemplary Service to the Public view past recipients If you know an alumni who deserves one of these honors, please use our Founders’s Day Award Nomination Form. Our Award Committees carefully review each nominee’s body of work, credentials, and contributions to their profession and community. Winners are selected based solely on merit and achievement and the process is fair, unbiased, and conducted independently by the committee members, free from outside influence or pressure. The awardees will be inducted into The Cooper Union Hall of Fame in 2026. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis, and the link will remain active after the date, allowing submissions throughout the year.
