On , 2026, alumni returned to decorate the grave of Peter Cooper in Green-Wood Cemetery, a CUAA tradition that was revived in . There was a threat of rain, but luckily this year, after readings by Barry Drogin EE’83, the rain held off until the grave was decorated. The rain wasn’t heavy.

The Cooper Union History Project is still waiting for the Bronx Hall of Fame to be reopened after renovations are completed so that the third CUAA tradition of decorating the bust of Peter Cooper can be revived as well. The decoration of the Peter Cooper statue in front of the Foundation was carried out by CU President Steven McLaughlin on , 2026, as part of Cooper Together 2026.
