Alumni, Parents and Friends were hosted at a Regional Event by Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Stern EE’62 in Moorestown, New Jersey on Nov. 14th.
9/22/2013 CU@ Citizen’s Park
The Cooper Union wrapped up its National League East tour at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Sunday, September 22. The Phillies eclipsed the 3-million mark in attendance in their final home game and with nearly 70 alumni, parents, family and guests there to watch the New York Mets’ 4-3 win over the Phillies.
LaTroy Hawkins nailed down a landmark save — No. 100 in his long career as a major-league reliever. Hawkins finished off New York’s 4-3 win over Philadelphia on Sunday, striking out Jimmy Rollins to end it and pull the Mets into a tie for third place with the Phillies in the NL East.
Honorary alumnus, Dean Stephen Baker and President Jamshed Bharucha greeted guests on the Suite Patio and shared their excitement about the new school year. A traditional All American Ballpark Picnic of hot dogs, burgers, popcorn and ice cream was enjoyed by all!
Alumni Reception Philadelphia – November 5, 2009
30 alumni and guests attended this reception on November 5, 2009 at the National Constitution Center. Thanks to Stephanie Reyer A’95 for facilitating the beautiful setting at the Center. Jeb Brookman AR’96 has volunteered to organize upcoming events for alumni in this region.
