Rick Krivo Eng’90
Running for: Council
Cooper Union was an enormous gift to someone who needed to find his path in life at 18 years old. The fact that you could graduate without incurring debt was pretty great and I’m always looking to pay it forward. I regularly get together with my former classmates at baseball games or meet for a beer at McSorley’s. I have always given generously to Cooper and supported the Alumni terrace when they were looking to raise money for the new building. Increasing alumni involvement and helping the school find a path toward a sustainable tuition-free education should be achievable.
Richard Krivo graduated from Cooper Union with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1990. Following Cooper, he started working and studying for actuarial exams. He became a qualified actuary in 2001 and has worked in the industry for 30 years. He currently works as a Vice President at Hamilton Group, a Bermuda-based insurance company.
