Ron Vogel ChE’01
Running for: President
After graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2001, Ron spent several years in industry before completing a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Cooper Union and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
His first degree was a bachelor’s in finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ron worked as a financial analyst on Wall Street early in his career, and as a chemist and engineer before attending law school. He now works as a life sciences patent lawyer at a premier law firm, where he advocates on behalf of a variety of clients faced with complex legal, financial, and scientific issues.
He has used these same skills over the last seven years in various roles within the CUAA, most recently, as Treasurer.
Ron continues to refine his law practice and scientific base, and has nearly completed a graduate degree in immunology at NYU. He remains indebted to Professors Stock, Okorafor, and Brazinsky for all they taught him and awed by his classmates, who have gone on to do remarkable things.
