Linda Farber-Strong A’92

Running for: Council

Campaign Statement

It would be an honor to serve on the CUAA council and give back to an institution that gives so much to so many. I am excited to bring my decades of experience and connections in the design industry, as well as my analytical thinking from my years as an attorney, to help bring Cooper Union back to its purpose of providing a free education for all.

Linda Sue Strong is currently the Senior Brand Realization Designer at Jones Knowles Ritchie where she worked on global rebrands including Burger King, Heinz, Jet-Puffed, Michelob, and Velveeta. She previously served as the Brand Director and Client Strategist at Strong Studio and held other leadership positions within the graphic design industry.

In 2000, Linda took a break from the design industry to attend the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she earned her J.D. degree and was admitted to the New York Bar. She worked for eight years as an attorney where she specialized in intellectual property issues in the context of insurance coverage litigation before returning to the design world.

Linda is a lifelong New Yorker and has been living on the Lower East Side for the past sixteen years where she donates her time to community causes.
