Architect /Author / Elected Official/ Preservation CT Board member.
Relevant Skills:
Cristina has served on various boards and commissions, including elected and appointed office. She serves in different capacities of leadership. She is a past member of the Cooper Union Board of Trustees, a volunteer to the alumni association, and a resolute cheerleader to the CUAA.
Vision and Goals:
The vision for the CUAA is to create a more vibrant alumni network through increased events, meet-ups, and connections. The goal is to build an alumni network that connects everyone to the college and builds on its legacy.

Networking, professional growth, building connections, and establishing professional relationships are all crucial elements that help shape a career and foster lasting connections. Engaging with old friends, meeting new ones, and discovering common ground can be essential, not only for expanding our social network, but also for linking us to the Cooper Union. In doing so, we contribute to securing the future preservation of Peter Cooper’s vision and legacy.
Additional Information:
- Cristina Aguirre-Ross is a graduate of the Architecture school, practicing architect, and published author that has served on many non-profit boards, municipal commissions and committees, and has extensive fundraising experience. She is committed to the highest levels of professional excellence and personal integrity.
