Running for: Nominating Committee

Personal Statement
I am honored to be among a list of worthy candidates for Nominating Committee.
I became involved in the CUAA during the School’s financial crisis and have served on Council, as chair of the Communications Committee, Treasurer, and most recently, as CUAA President. During that time, I have witnessed how important alumni participation is to the CUAA and the School’s mission.
At this juncture, I believe it is critical that the Nominating Committee continue its mission to build a diverse and inclusive alumni organization. We have such an amazing — and untapped — alumni base. We must continue to recruit graduates from all three schools with the dedication, experience, and skills to grow council membership. Diversity in thought makes us stronger. If elected, I will work to ensure that we field a diverse slate of candidates that support the School’s Return to Free.
Thank you to all who give their time and money in support of The Cooper Union.
