Running for: Vice-President Alumni Activities, Alumni Council, Nominating Committee

Tai Blanche A’95

Personal Statement

I’m honored to be nominated for the role of VP Alumni Activities. If elected, I plan to provide valuable contributions to the Cooper Union Alumni Association and to the Art, Architecture, and Engineering Schools. I will support Peter Cooper’s vision to provide full-scholarship, high-quality education to all members of society, regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or gender. To ensure the success of students and alumni, I will create opportunities for us to connect, to share, and to collaborate. I plan to foster a mentorship program to advance the personal and professional development of recent graduates and mid-career alumni. To build community, I plan to engage and open dialogue between the three schools for fruitful collaboration. My goal is to enrich the lives of the Cooper Union community and beyond.
